A Brooklyn Wedding at Fandi Mata

A Brooklyn Wedding at Fandi Mata
Emma + Adam

Some weddings feel polished. Some feel joyful. And every so often, there’s one that feels like it moves — where the energy carries you from the very first moment and never really lets up. Emma and Adam’s wedding day in Brooklyn was exactly that.

The day began high above the city at The William Vale, where Emma got ready surrounded by her closest people. It was calm but not quiet — the good kind of buzz, with laughter floating between hair and makeup touch-ups, champagne pours, and the quiet anticipation that sits in the room right before everything begins. Emma wore a Watters gown that felt effortlessly modern, and one of our favorite details of the morning was her getting-ready robe — custom-made from her grandmother’s dress and her mom’s gown. A beautiful, meaningful nod to the women who shaped her.

Adam opted for a more low-key start to the day, keeping things relaxed before meeting Emma for their first look back at the hotel. From the second they saw each other, it was clear: these two are best friends first. Comfortable, playful, and totally at ease together. Exactly our kind of couple.

From there, we made our way to Fandi Mata, where the rest of the day unfolded. The space set the tone immediately — lush greenery, warm textures, candlelight, and an intimate layout that felt like hosting 175 of your closest friends in the most elevated dinner party imaginable.

Emma and Adam were married beneath the chuppah in a ceremony that struck the perfect balance between meaningful and lighthearted. There were quiet moments, big smiles, and the kind of laughter that ripples through a crowd when everyone feels truly present. Rabbi Juliana Karol led a ceremony that felt personal and grounding, setting the stage for the celebration that followed.

Cocktail hour blended seamlessly into the reception — just how Emma and Adam wanted it. No disappearing acts, no stiff transitions. They were right there with their guests, soaking it all in. One of our favorite spots in the venue is the staircase, and it quickly became a backdrop for everything from editorial portraits to spontaneous hugs and happy chaos.

Dinner gave way to speeches, toasts, and then… the dancing. And wow — this dance floor did not quit. From the first song on, the energy was full-throttle joy. DJ Moka kept the room moving, and Emma and Adam led the charge, surrounded by friends and family who were just as ready to celebrate.

What stood out most about this day wasn’t any one detail — it was the way it felt. Intentional but not precious. Stylish without trying too hard. Deeply personal and completely fun. Emma and Adam trusted their people, trusted the process, and showed up ready to be fully in the moment — which is always where the best photographs live.

We’re so excited to share these sneak peeks and can’t wait to deliver the full story soon. Emma and Adam — thank you for letting us be part of such a beautiful, joyful chapter. What a day.
