Chris and Christine’s Engagement Photos at The Vanderbilt Museum
Chris & Christine at the Vanderbilt Museum – An Engagement Session to Remember
Some shoots just have a great vibe from the very start—and Chris and Christine’s engagement session at the Vanderbilt Museum in Centerport, NY, was exactly that. Easygoing, fun, and full of those little moments that make my job so rewarding.
Chris and Christine showed up with big smiles and an even bigger connection. They were relaxed, ready to enjoy the evening, and totally in sync. It didn’t take long before they were laughing between shots, sneaking glances at each other, and just genuinely having a great time together.
We started around the museum’s courtyard—hello, beautiful stonework and dreamy arches—and wandered through the gardens, pausing wherever the light felt right. Christine wore a soft ivory dress that moved beautifully with the breeze, and Chris kept it simple and classic in navy. They nailed the look without overthinking it.
As the sun started to dip, the real magic happened. The light turned golden, the sky softened, and everything glowed just a little. We found quiet spots by the water, and those candid, natural moments just started unfolding. A spontaneous spin, a quick laugh, a forehead kiss—those are the shots that always stick with me.
The Vanderbilt Museum is one of my favorite Long Island spots to shoot for a reason—it’s got character, charm, and tons of variety. Add in a couple like Chris and Christine, and it’s the kind of session that reminds me why I love what I do.
Can’t wait for their wedding day—I already know it’s going to be full of the same energy, connection, and joy.
