Michelle & Brandon at Milleridge Cottage: A Perfectly Timed "I Do" — With a Surprise Mets Cameo
It started as a maybe-rainy, maybe-chaotic kind of forecast — the kind that makes everyone refresh their weather apps like it’s a group sport. But in true Michelle-and-Brandon fashion, the skies cleared, the breeze kicked in, and Jericho, New York decided to gift them the perfect fall day. (Score one for team optimism.)
The Milleridge Cottage set the scene, tucked away like something out of a Hallmark movie, only with fewer small-town misunderstandings and a lot more real-life love. Michelle looked absolutely radiant (we’re talking gasp-worthy levels of stunning), and Brandon? Dapper doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Before the ceremony, the couple shared a first look at the ever-photogenic Planting Fields Arboretum. Picture sun-dappled paths, golden light peeking through the trees, and the kind of grinning, happy-teary energy that makes photographers sprint for the perfect angle.
But the real plot twist? As Brandon — die-hard Mets fan, heart-on-his-sleeve guy — posed with his groomsmen, fate threw a curveball in the best way. One of the actual New York Mets happened to be at the same spot. Yes, really. The timing was so impeccable you’d think Brandon planned it. (He didn’t, but we wouldn’t blame him for taking the credit.)
From there, it was on to “I do’s” beneath a canopy of trees at Milleridge, the kind of setting that feels both romantic and cozy — like you’re stepping into someone’s lifelong daydream. Michelle and Brandon exchanged vows in front of 150 of their nearest and dearest, surrounded by laughter, a few well-placed happy tears, and a whole lot of heart.
The celebration continued with a cocktail hour full of clinking glasses and the smell of Milleridge’s famous kitchen wafting through the air. Dinner was plated and perfectly timed, the toasts were sweet with just the right amount of spice, and Sonicboom kept the dance floor packed.
There were personal touches everywhere — like rings they’d picked out in St. Thomas, where a song that reminded Michelle of her late brother just happened to play the moment they sealed the deal. Chills, right?
Michelle and Brandon’s wedding was everything a great love story should be: heartfelt, a little magical, and perfectly timed — Mets appearance and all.
