Chris and Dana’s Summer Wedding

Chris & Dana’s Summer Wedding

Chris and Dana’s wedding was the kind of day that reminds us why we love what we do. It was relaxed, elegant, and full of meaningful moments with the people who matter most.

The ceremony took place under the trees on a warm summer afternoon. It was short, heartfelt, and full of genuine emotion. Their dog even made a quick (and very popular) appearance, which added a personal touch to an already thoughtful day.

The rest of the afternoon unfolded naturally. Guests played lawn games, mingled over cocktails, and enjoyed the kind of weather you always hope for at a summer wedding. Chris and Dana made space for everyone to feel at home—no rush, no pressure, just good company and good energy.

Dinner was served family-style at long tables. The food was excellent—seasonal, simple, and beautifully prepared. It reflected the couple’s approach to the day: thoughtful without being overdone.

We stepped away with Chris and Dana for a few portraits during golden hour. They were relaxed, happy, and fully present—exactly what we hope for during those quiet in-between moments. It didn’t take much direction; they just enjoyed being together, and that made for some of our favorite images from the day.

As the evening continued, guests gathered around a fire pit, roasted s’mores, and danced under string lights. There was no grand production—just a celebration that felt honest and real from beginning to end.

We feel lucky to work with couples like Chris and Dana, who care more about connection than perfection and who trust us to document their story as it unfolds.
